SHEER KHURMA IN ENGLISH
Ingredients
1/2 cup=Ghee
3 cups =Milk
1/2 cup=Sugar
50g=Vermicelli
3=Dates (Seedless and cut into 4 pieces)
5=Badam (blanched and peeled)
5=Pistashewnuts(blanched and peeled)
1 tbsp=Raisins
Method
Heat the ghee in the pan, add the vermicelli
and fry it till it is brown.
Strain the vermicelli and keep it aside.
Heat milk and sugar in another pan and bring it to a boil while stirring it continuously.
Add the vermicelli and simmer it till the vermicelli is done.
Add the dates to this mixture and cool for a few minutes.
Chop the nuts into small pieces and fry them in ghee.
Add the raisins once the nuts are golden brown.
Garnish the dish with nuts.
